How does low Vitamin D affect sex?
According to research published in the International Journal of Endocrinology, men with poorer scores on sexual performance (particularly erectile dysfunction) may have a Vitamin D shortage. When participants with low vitamin D were compared to subjects with normal vitamin D levels, the first group had worse sexual performance ratings. When the same group of people with low vitamin D was given vitamin D treatment, their sexual performance improved dramatically. This study implies a link between Vitamin D and sexual performance.
