Contraception
Does birth control affect sex drive?
There has been some cases where women reported a decreased sex drive while using some types of hormonal contraception, such as the: combined pill, progeston-only pill, vaginal ring, contraceptive patch and so on. These contraceptives' negative effects, on the other hand, tend to fade after a few months and are often well tolerated. If a person is concerned that contraception is causing a decrease of libido, they should consult a doctor or a gynecologist. They could advise you to attempt a different approach.
