I'm worried about the discrimination my child may face if they change their gender, what can I do?
Loving your child and allowing them to share any negative experiences they may be facing is the best thing you can do. Helping them feel supported and that they have every right to change their gender identity is highly beneficial. You cannot stop people from making such comments, however you can be supportive and be of a helping hand.
