Sexual Dysfunction
I’m having trouble getting and keeping my erection. Should I take medications that give you an erection?
Medication is just one solution to erectile dysfunction (ED). It can be that any issues with sexual performance might be a symptom of other problems. Physical issues such as high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, hormone deficiencies can affect your ability to get and maintain an erection. It could also be that something is mentally blocking you from performing, such as anxiety or depression. Furthermore, medications such as viagra are just one option. It would be a good idea to discuss this with your doctor to rule out any underlying conditions and to see what treatment option is best for you. Often, even just simple lifestyle changes, such as exercising more often or eating more healthy, can make a big difference.
