Is asexuality the same as low sexual desire?

The lack of sexual desire, rather than the lack of sexual behavior, is what defines asexuality. People with a low sex drive may wish they had a stronger desire for sex or believe that something is wrong with their sexual desire. Asexual people are comfortable with the fact that they do not want to have sex.
