Sexually Transmitted Infections

How long does it take for an STI to show up?

This depends on the STI in question. Some can appear after only a few days while others can take years to become noticeable. Most symptoms of STIs are similar such as genital discharge and pain when urinating. Most appear within a couple of weeks. This is why it is important to get regularly tested for STIs, to catch infections that may have been missed.
