Is it possible to have tight foreskin?

Phimosis occurs when the foreskin is too tight to be pulled back over the penis' head (glans). Phimosis is common in babies and toddlers, but it can also be the outcome of a scarring skin disorder in older children. Unless it creates symptoms, it is usually not an issue. In adults, there are a number of risk factors and causes of phimosis, though it only tends to be a problem if it causes symptoms. In cases where phimosis creates difficulties such as trouble urinating, immediate treatment is required.
